During their visit, we'll provide a comprehensive exam tailored to your child’s eating habits and teeth considerations. Then, we will gently clean, polish, and floss their teeth. Typically, we recommend sealants for their permanent molars and fluoride treatments to make enamel stronger and protect them against cavities.

Creating a healthy foundation for kids

Sealants are a light-cured resin that close up the grooves in adult teeth to help prevent cavities from forming. The application of sealants is quick and requires no anesthetic. The procedure involves etching, bonding and applying the resin sealant into the groove and applying a special light to harden the material. Sealants can protect for children's teeth for years, even into adulthood.
